Who are we?

The French Australian Association (FAA) is a non religious, non political and non profit association. 

 

Its aim is to bring together people of all nationalities desirous of promoting the French culture and language through functions like picnics and dances.

 

We alternate the locations for the picnics between North and South, close to the highway access and parking, so anyone can join us.

 

The Committee

 

The Committee consists of a President, a Vice-President, a Treasurer and a Secretary as well as some members ready to bring some ideas and volunteer to help in the organisation of the activities.

 

The Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting held at the beginning of the calendar year and any current member can nominate someone for this election and/or present himself.

 

The committee meeting is generally held the week after a function in order to discuss about positive and negative points of this function and prepare the next one.
